Transforming a dated 60's style chalet house, Bakewell & Partners were commissioned to design the extention of this detached house whilst providing a new street facade and additional internal spaces.

Conversion of The Studio, Belper, Derbyshire.

After successfully negiotiating a grant from the Belper & Milford Townscape Heritage Initiative, Bakewell & Partners designed and oversaw the restoration, conversion and extension of a derelict former blacksmiths forge into its new head office comprising mezzanine gallery studio spaces together with reception and meeting rooms.

Conversion of The Studio, Belper, Derbyshire.

Atlow Moat, Derbyshire Dales.

The project involved the conversion of listed farm buildings into five separate living units, and the subdivision of the farmhouse into three separate units. The project was awarded the Royal Town Planning Institute East Midlands Branch Award for Rural Regeneration, 2003.
